Cap-shaped carbide buttons are general-purpose buttons that are suitable for 80% milling applications, especially for soft to medium-hard materials like soil and asphalt. Compared to cap-shaped carbide tips’ flat bottom, valve-seat carbide buttons have a valve-seat braze joint at the bottom for better strength.
